You are invited to join the Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation for a live demo of Catchafire, an online platform that connects skilled professional volunteers with nonprofit organizations, on Friday June 15th at 2:00 PM. 

The Tower Foundation has been in discussion with Catchafire over the past couple of months and is now exploring ways to supplement existing capacity building support with this platform.

This demo is an opportunity to understand the platform and identify other funders that may have an interest in coordinating this effort. If you’d like to get a sense of what this platform looks like in advance of the demo, here are a few resources you can explore:

• This webpage is an example of a funder-sponsored page specific to one geography (Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in NJ), and this page shows examples of the impact they have had as a result of this work.

• Finally, attached is an in-depth overview of the platform, including its current use across New York State.

You are welcome to join us in-person for this demo at our office or join us by live stream. The demo will be 60 minutes followed by 30 minutes for questions and answers. The demo will also be recorded, if you are unable to make it.
